It... is...Off!

So I'm participating in the contest metioned in the cayfie's journal below, one of the rules is to advertise this competition to others via my journal entry, so we have more people entering, so there you go guys. Hope some of you join in too, the OC we're supposed to draw is actually pretty interesting in many ways... she's not exactly a pony, more like furry dragon beast, which immediatelly captured my attention, thinking "what could I do with it?". And I know... damn straight I do I've been working on it for few days now and look much forward to complete it. Let's just say, it's something different this time, and I'm actually proud of how it's turning out so far.

It's with heavy heart, but I have to do this - my Master Thesis cannot be delayed any longer, unfortunately... It doesn't mean I won't be working on commissions or arting at all, but if I choose to do art, it will be WHEN I get to it, and it will be happening very sparsely, definitelly cannot afford to spend whole saturdays afternoon by painting right now. The statement above lasts until further notice, i. e. until I finish the master thesis (deadline on 20th of May) or university (20th of June).

Long time, I know, but I had to fiddle with my priorities list and figures, that school goes first... I'm sorry...

I received my first commission request, so this time, I'm going to finally work on something somepony else want me to work on Excitement! Anyway, it will start around 13:00 CET as usual, I'll be painting a battle of Twilight and Tirek from the Season 4 finale. So who's interested, feel free to join me on picarto.tv/Provectus. Chances are I won't be finishing until sunday, so I might pop up during Sunday too (just finishing touches I hope).

Also, I'd like to announce here on DA that I'm officialy open for commissions (just realized I posted it on picarto, but not here), so, If you're interested, I'm all ears. Since I lack clients so far, I only ask for 10 dollars per commission, and it can be pretty much anything (gore and private stuff included, altough let me be a judge of just how kinky your idea is and if I'm up to it ) ). I'll describe the whole commission process on my DA ID description, so check it out, if you're interested.

I think I just picked my next project for this saturday's stream on picarto.tv/Provectus ; Always wanted to paint Rara, but didn't do it when it was still popular (which is like... up to a week from when the episode aired)... nevermind, time to remedy that mistake with style I'll try to be online from 13:00 CET until... well, until I can't hold my pen, which is usually after 9-10 hours (boy, the pen is heavy!).

I did take an iniciative and did the boring part beforehand (lining, corrections of the original sketch, putting base colors in and smoothing around edges), so from now on, It should be just the fun for watchers (shading, putting in colors, details and such).
